Stonington Vineyards will host their 7th Annual Summer Wine & Food Festival
on Saturday, July 21st & Sunday, July 22nd, 11-5pm. This will take place
rain or shine. There is no admission charge to attend the festival. On
July 20th, 6-9pm Green Tea will perform a pre-festival concert in a tent
under the stars also happening rain or shine. $7.00 concert tickets may be
purchased in advance either online www.stoningtonvineyards.com or in the
tasting room. The tickets will be $10.00 on the day of the show.
Stonington wines as well as food provided by the new White Cap Seafood
Restaurant of Westerly, RI will be available for purchase.
The Weekend Wine and Food Fest is held under a tent in the field facing the
Chardonnay vines. This mid summer stage of the grape growing season is a
wonderful time to experience the vineyards. There will be wine tastings
held all day, educational tours of the wine cellar and sampling of foods
from several New England vendors all while a live band sets a festive mood.
