HUNDREDS OF BIRDS FROM DOWN UNDER LAND AT MYSTIC AQUARIUM
The Mystic Aquarium and Institute for Exploration’s newest exhibit “Outdoor Birds of the Outback” is now open to the public at the only New England location to host this exhibit. The exhibit is an enclosed aviary with free-flying cockatiels, parakeets, and rosellas; all birds are native to Australia. Visitors can get up close and personal to feed the birds and learn about their native habitats and behaviors. This temporary, interactive exhibit will be at the Aquarium through Labor Day. The aviary is located next to the marshlands exhibit. Admission is an additional $2 per person, which includes feed for the birds.
